Get around, get around, I get around
The university is divided into two campuses, one in Duisburg and one in Essen. For most of the time you should be fine to just stay in Duisburg, but some of the teaching duties are in Essen. You can either take public transport to get there or there is a shuttle bus leaving once an hour. More information can be found under https://www.uni-due.de/verwaltung/pendelbus.php. Please note that the stops currently change due to construction works.
