Hungerbrunnen [also Hungerquelle] are ephemeral springs appearing only after increased precipitation.

Quellschwemmkegel

Spring alluvial mounds (Quellschwemmkegel) are a special form of temporary spings. They create shield-shaped elevations (up to 2.5 m, Ø 50 m, up to 25 l/s). Activity between February - March.

Quickspring

Quickspringe are temporary springs at the Paderborner Hochfläche, a karstic landscape. Synonym with Hungerbrunnen.
